Ever since I was a child I always dreamed of becoming a teacher, and I am now fulfilling my dream by attending my fourth year at Queen's University in the Teacher's Concurrent Education program.
I have a strong passion for sharing my knowledge with others and giving individuals the opportunity to feel supported and able to do their best. I understand that due to circumstances in our world right now, it is more important than ever for students to have as much support as possible. I am a very outgoing, patient, determined, organized and passionate individual.
Due to my previous experiences in tutoring and providing aid to youth, I have strengthened my ability to create plans, see the importance of developing multiple different explanations for one topic, and always having a smile on your face. The most important thing to remember when being a tutor and educator is the wellbeing of the student. It is crucial to make sure they feel welcome, heard and supported.
